Terracotta DSO is a development project dedicated to bringing the best available clustering technology to Java. We recognize that the most successful software technology - the kind that drives innovation, fosters growth of an active developer community, and ultimately delivers real end-user value - rests on open standards.

Terracotta already has support from several open source companies and community members. Leading contributors from communities such as Spring, Tomcat and Geronimo will be helping guide the Terracotta open source project as steering committee members or contributors.
